MapleLib collects the minimum needed to run the site and its moderation tools. This policy explains what that means for your data.
What's collected
If you log in with Discord, MapleLib stores your Discord account id, username, and avatar URL, plus a session cookie identifying that login. This is used only to show your logged-in state and, for moderator/admin accounts, to gate and attribute edits to community-curated data. MapleLib does not run its own analytics and does not collect anything from visitors who don't log in.
Cookies
A session cookie is set only after logging in with Discord, used solely to keep you signed in — no cookies are set for anonymous visitors.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete the Discord account data MapleLib holds for your login, or object to it being processed, by contacting contact@maplelib.com. If you're in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
